With all of the demands on your time, it can be near to impossible sometimes to guard our workout time. Things pop up unexpectedly and before you know it, it’s been ten days since you have been to the gym. This is the time for some creative time management. If you keep saying, “I can’t find the time to exercise,” then you never will. Be open to being flexible and creative with how you use the time that you have available, establish priorities, make choices and stick with them.
When things get really hectic you can collapse your workout into 15 minute chunks. Bring your sneakers with you to that meeting and walk around the block. If the weather is bad you can walk up and down the stairwell in an office building or walk around the entire mall while you get your errands done.
When you life gets busy stress levels can get high, and we all know what a natural stress reducer exercise can be. Find a way to squeeze in some time between tasks to take care of your body and your mind will also reap the benefits.
