There will be days when you can’t get to the gym, or maybe you do not attend a gym and just prefer to work out at home. Even if you do not have a proper home gym set up you can still get in a good workout if you have enough open floor space where you can move around without bumping into furniture or walls.

Even if you will be only working out at home, you still want to see your doctor before starting your new exercise routine.

If you can’t set aside a particular area of the house as your designated workout area, then be sure that your family or housemates understand that you need to use the space and that you do not want to be disturbed while you are exercising.

You don’t need any fancy equipment other than a TV to watch an Exercise DVD, or you can just do your own routine. The important thing is that you maintain a regular workout schedule. Being at home makes it that much more convenient.
