Rewarding Yourself For Reaching Your GoalsSticking with an exercise program is not an easy task. There are so many things that can occur to try and distract you from reaching your goals. But when you have managed to consistently meet your workout schedule, you should reward yourself.

When choosing to reward yourself you want to think about things that will help to encourage you to continue. The reward must be provide a sufficient incentive while not conflicting with your goals. You wouldn’t want to reward yourself with a thick slice of chocolate cake if your goal is to lose 30lbs. before your niece’s wedding.

Some good rewards could be: a new CD to play while you work out, a new outfit in a smaller size, a day at a spa, a new pair of shoes or a mini vacation.

Remember to choose rewards that will make you feel good about what you have accomplished, and continue to motivate you to succeed.
