Think about how many unhealthy meals you eat in a week, then reduce that number. Try and set a strict number of unhealthy meals you are going to eat in a week, then follow that number. You can set that number to five unhealthy meals a week and increase it to seven when you work out. As long as you are making real efforts to eat as healthy as you can most of the time, you should be fine.

Keep exercising. If you want to stay fit, you are going to have to make sure that you are exercising as much as you can. Keep in mind that you should be trying out different exercise regimens all the time. Try and mix up your exercises once a month. This should keep your body from becoming too comfortable with one type of exercise, and get it working all the time. You might want to dedicate one month and focus on running, another on biking, and another to swimming. Whatever works for you, and whatever can help you stay in shape.

Try and get as many people around you fit. A good way to stay fit is to surround yourself with people who are practicing healthy habits for their bodies as well. Try your best to get the people around you to see eye to eye with you in getting and staying fit. With enough positive reinforcement, you and all your loved ones can stay fit forever.
